Week1:Character
Modeling and Rigging
I’ve been doing my best with the constructing of my character, coming across issues many times, such as weird weight assignment, twisting skeletons, and still controllers but finally, all resolved and under control by doing it over and over again:)
As my usual pipeline, doing the modeling and rigging stuff in Maya. I used the advanced skeleton for rigging, which I consider could be an efficient way that can cater to my basic need.

Clothes Simulation
However, this time I wish my character animation can be way more dynamic than before so I’ve decided to make the clothes of the character by using Marvelous Designer where we can do clothes simulation, the pipeline I had known before but haven’t tried to apply to my projects yet. In this sense, I feel it might be a new journey and challenge for me.




And then there is a simple and basic simulation below.
Considering the limited time and schedule, to some extent, this is not perfect construction for sure, whereas, everything can’t be perfect lol and making clothes is not my main goal for the whole project so I won’t put much time into this part.
At least this result is proper for me:)
